eHarmony search Dating

Online market research firms such as HitWise, Jupiter Research and Comscore have consistently listed eHarmony as one of the most popular dating sites today, albeit popular does not necessarily mean recommended. As several readers have pointed out to me and from my own private practices, eHarmony is one of the those dating sites that seems to have a lot going for it on paper, but in reality has little to suggest.

Add their conspicuously absent fine print and terms of service and eHarmony becomes a dating site that isn’t recommended.

Overview from eHarmony

",Online dating made effortless.",

Guide note: usually there is more from the dating site posted here, but at the time of publication, no other content related to what makes eHarmony special or unique was posted on their website that could be lightly found. If you find something that has been missed, please email me with a link to the content.

What a eHarmony Membership Includes

eHarmony has, for several years, had a disclaimer on its front page stating in one way or another that membership is free for a limited time only. Attempting to discern the differences inbetween a paid and free membership at eHarmony isn’t clear however. For example, the eHarmony billing page states that paid users get very first listing on search results – yet when viewing a search, the results are a mix of paid and free members across the board. The billing page also states:

",Once you upgrade the compatibility matching system, we will recognize you as a featured member and will work tighter to find you that ideal match.",

However, what the ",working stiffer", refers to isn’t apparent, as most of the site’s matching system seems automated. For example, within seconds of signing up, three matches displayed up in this reviewer’s inbox.

Free members seem to have access to all of the normal eHarmony features, with a limit on how many people they can initiate contact with for free. Alternatively, paid eHarmony members can initiate contact with as many people as they like, and in turn can permit non-paying members to contact them for free. Phone support and a money-back assure are also suggested to paid eHarmony members.

Unique Features of eHarmony

eHarmony has an enormously quick sign up process – about two minutes in total (albeit the site says it’ll only take 30 seconds, that wasn’t this Guide’s practice).

As well, eHarmony caters not only to heterosexuals, but also gays and lesbians.

eHarmony Membership Costs

Presently free ",for a limited time only",, but the site has stated it is either free or is suggesting a free 7-day trial for several years.

A total membership to eHarmony costs $24.95 a month USD, with discounts if you pay for three months at a time ($Nineteen.95 a month USD) or a total year ($7.49 a month USD). A no-questions asked refund is available, but nowhere on the site does it state how long the refund is valid for. Payments can be made by credit card or PayPal.

I found that if you read the profiles, you do get what your looking for.. Albeit, there are some superb liars out there. I went through alot of ladies here, till i found the right one. She is fair, hard working, and beautiful. We’ve been together now Five years, Two of which are married.

It is effortless to use, but earnestly folks, read the profiles. Get to know them before you venture out. I had Two bad encounters that i recall.Yes, you do get alot of notifications and wink/flirts, not all generated by another dater.

if folks would read the profiles, it would be alot lighter to navagate the mine fields of this site. I simply mean, for example, just reading what is written would be alot more helpful than looking at pics. I put, very first line, that i don’t date outside my race, but was bogged down by requests from ladies of another race. I also asked that if you didn’t have a profile pic not to contact me, but here again i was bogged down. That said, one has to wonder if people merely look at the pics and leap, rather than read and see if they actually have anything in common with the intended person of interest.

I commented on Michangelo’s (?) review of eHarmony so therefore, I determined to write my own witnessing how I once was a member and made fine friends. I am now dating a stud that I met on eHarmony and he is a nice man. For me. I’m pretty picky.

I recommend eHarmony for a brief visit if you go into their talk rooms because if you stay too long in the talk rooms they get boring and out of control. The people tend to commence cursing and talking about hookup all the time and that gets sickening, the way they talk. The site instructs you to report a person if they are out of control ( my own words) but they don’t do anything and I feel it is because they want the people to become paying members and if they do boot someone it may give them a bad name. yeah right.

Now for the site itself, it is good and there is broad option of people to meet. You have to be on your guard at all times however because there is a lot of players on the site that lie about everything. That isn’t the sites fault!! They do suggest free ways to communicate with someone you find interesting to a degree because as I said above they do want you to become a paying member.

Over all, if you are interested in attempting the site I say go for it. To each his own!!

This website has two different levels of membership. A free one that permits a member to send a ",flirt", message to a member, whether they are a free member or have a paid membership. A paid membership permits someone to send an e-mail via the website’s mail server to another member, regardless of whether or not the other person is a free or paid member.

Additionally, you can opt to have a free 30 day, money back trial period of the paid membership.

But, sometimes, i get profiles for the same women, despite having not contacted them in the past, and they don’t meet my specific search requirements.
